Miss Grand Las Palmas 2026

A night of beauty, purpose and empowerment

Miss Grand Las Palmas 2026 arrived at Sala Scala Gran Canaria in an unforgettable edition where elegance and inner strength shone on the runway. The crown went to Claudia Álvarez Álvarez, a medical student whose resilience and commitment won over jury and audience. She shared her goal of using this platform to support women who have experienced abuse and to highlight real causes beyond beauty. Claudia will represent Las Palmas in future national and international pageants, carrying the Canary Islands’ name with pride and purpose.

Skål Gran Canaria: Tourism in Action

We hosted the professional gathering of Skål Club Gran Canaria, bringing together more than 70 experts from the tourism and MICE sectors in a day dedicated to analysing the challenges and opportunities of the island as a destination for major events. The multi-space venue was consolidated as a benchmark for corporate meetings, conferences and strategic encounters in Gran Canaria.

Relive the 80’s – Sala Scala edition

The Summer Party – Relive the 80’s transformed Sala Scala into a sensory journey full of colour, rhythm and nostalgia. A vibrant night with live music, DJ, performances, cocktails, open bar and plenty of attitude, where every detail celebrated freedom, fun and the spirit of an unforgettable era.

With spectacular staging and overflowing energy, the event marked the beginning of a series of unique nights that promise to continue surprising every summer in Gran Canaria.

Special Christmas Gala

The Night of the Stars

Christmas Eve was filled with magic at Sala Scala with “The Night of the Stars”, a unique gala that brought together some of the most renowned artists on the music scene: David Bustamante, Soraya Arnelas, Ruth Lorenzo, Ptazeta, Sonia y Selena, Pepe Benavente and the young Canarian talent Rodrigo, among many others.

The evening combined spectacular voices with the international magic of Dania Díaz, the humour of Omayra Cazorla, Darío López and Petit Lorena, and the impressive acrobatics of Levy and Estrella, finalists of a well-known talent show. A show full of emotion, rhythm and creativity that turned our venue into the epicentre of Christmas in the Canary Islands, and was also broadcast on 24 December on TV Canaria.

First Zero Waste Event in the Canary Islands

We hosted the first zero waste event in the Canary Islands, a pioneering initiative organised by Global Revenue Forum Madrid, together with Open Revenue Consulting and Neobookings. Hospitality professionals gathered in an exclusive Think Tank focused on conversion and profitability strategies, achieving a sustainability milestone: no waste was sent to landfill, thanks to the implementation of THE PLEDGE on Food Waste programme and compliance with Law 1/2025.

We were the setting for the official dinner of World Mountain Tourism Day, organised by IMTA.

The event brought together international delegates in an evening that highlighted Gran Canaria’s commitment to sustainable, distinctive mountain tourism aimed at high-value markets.

Carnaval Fashion World – 25th Anniversary

The 25th anniversary of Carnaval Fashion World filled Sala Scala with fantasy, colour and creativity in an especially emotional edition. The event brought together leading designers from the Gran Canaria Carnival Association, who presented spectacular costumes and designs inspired by the essence of island carnival culture.

The night featured models, makeup artists and performers who transformed our venue into a true festive runway, celebrating local talent and the passion for one of the Canary Islands’ most beloved traditions. A vibrant gala that turned this anniversary into an unforgettable tribute to the carnival spirit.

Alliance on the Green

We partnered with Maspalomas Golf to inaugurate the XXVII Maspalomas Golf Cup 2025, one of the island’s most iconic competitions.

Our role as official sponsor of the Grand Final is a clear demonstration of our shared commitment to excellence, quality tourism and the positioning of Gran Canaria as an international benchmark destination.

The collaboration brought together industry professionals and golf enthusiasts in an event that combines sport, style and quality tourism, marking the beginning of an edition that will feature more than 2,000 participants in its qualifying rounds.

Official Presentation

The International Carnival of Maspalomas 2026 is presented at Sala Scala

Sala Scala was the chosen venue for the official presentation of the International Carnival of Maspalomas 2026, which will take place from March 10 to 22 under the theme “The Circus of Life”, with the Maspalomas Lighthouse as its main symbol.

The event was attended by Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez, Councillor Yilenia Vega, Artistic Director Josué Quevedo, and young designer Kirian Sánchez, creator of the official poster. During the presentation, a calendar full of galas, parades and surprises was unveiled, designed for family enjoyment and to turn Maspalomas into the epicentre of joy and creativity in the Canary Islands.
